Entering Letter Name and Letter Sound scores in the EarlyBird dashboard to view percentiles
9/26/24 Product Feature Update: Letter Name and Letter Sound Score Entry Now Available!
Letter Name and Letter Sound score entry is now available in your EarlyBird dashboard!
Note that this feature only allows one score entry per student and assessment period at this time. Please ensure the scores you enter are accurate before submitting them. If you need to edit a student's scores, you can use the edit feature when it becomes available on October 4, or email support@earlybirdeducation.com for immediate help.
To access the new score entry feature, navigate to your classroom and click on the + icon in the Letter Name or Letter Sound column for the student you need to update.
You will see a new modal pop up for that student that allows you to see the letter inventory, by default ordered alphabetically, and input scores. All letter scores are by default set to "incorrect" (denoted by the X). Simply click on the box underneath each letter to mark that letter "correct" (denoted by a checkmark).
If you used the EarlyBird scoring sheets and test materials, you can click on the toggle to "Show letters in EarlyBird order," which will reorder the letters to match the order displayed in the EarlyBird test materials for easier score entry.
Once you are done recording the full inventory scores, click "Submit Scores" and the student's scores will automatically update in the dashboard, with their percentile rank displayed by default. Just like before, you can click on the "Score" toggle to view the ratio scores instead.
Please share any questions and feedback with our team by either replying to this email or messaging support@earlybirdeducation.com. We hope this new data helps inform your instructional plans during this beginning-of-year period!
